A Life Shaped by Service
Before Tacoma, Noel's path was forged through years of serving others. He spent four years in the United States Navy, where he served as a Personnel Assistant — counseling enlisted sailors on their career advancement, benefits, and deployment options. It was there he discovered his gift for listening, helping, and walking alongside people in difficult seasons.
After the Navy, Noel moved to Los Angeles, where he served as a Youth Pastor, pouring into a generation of young people wrestling with identity, family wounds, and the pull of the streets. His heart for the vulnerable deepened as he worked for 8 years in Los Angeles County Child Protective Services, protecting children from abuse and neglect and advocating for families in crisis.

Called to Tacoma
When God called Noel and Dinah north to Washington State, Noel continued his child welfare work — this time for 7 years with Washington State CPS. But the call to plant a church grew undeniable. In 2009, with faith and family, they officially established Community Life Foursquare Church in Tacoma.
The name says everything: Community Life. Not a performance, not a program — a living, breathing community that walks life together. From its earliest days, CLFC was a place where the weary found rest, the broken found wholeness, and the searching found Jesus.
The Vision That Drives Us
CLFC describes itself simply as "a small church that believes in the importance of community." Beneath that simplicity is a deep conviction: every life matters, every person belongs, and every soul is worth pursuing. The church is committed to teaching the Word of God, celebrating all lives, and showing compassion to the needy.
Today, Pastor Noel continues to serve as Lead Pastor alongside a faithful team of associate pastors and a congregation that loves Tacoma deeply. He also holds a Master of Arts in Counseling Psychology and serves as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor, bringing professional-grade care into the pastoral call.
